Michael Driskill created MDriskill Architecture, PLLC formally after practicing architecture professionally since 2009 when he finished his Masters degree at Texas Tech University. Michael practiced as a licensed Architect in Texas prior to moving to Asheville in 2017 with his young family.

He is grateful for the experience he gained while working under Mr. John Fisher locally for 5 years before pursuing his own private practice.

Prior to gaining expertise in the Asheville context he specialized in thoroughly crafted traditional and classical architecture and precedent based design. His current design work draws on his years working in multiple historical design styles and a variety of project types, including luxury residential, private institutions, commercial, retail, restaurants, equestrian, townhome & residential developments.

Michael is dedicated to his family and his staff to ensure he provides his time to those he values most. Without the encouragement & support of his wife Sarah, much of his accomplishments could not be realized.

Leisurely, Michael is a long time Skateboarder and now commits what time he can spare to the non-profit functions of the Asheville Skate Foundation.

Becky joined MDA in 2023 following many years of drafting and design in engineering, architecture and interior design. Her main passion is in space planning and custom home design, and has seen through to completion several of her home designs over the years. Becky is a graduate of Brigham Young University's Bachelor of Visual Arts program, and soon plans to pursue a Master of Architecture. She lives in South Carolina with her husband and three children.

Kyle joined MDA in 2023 after spending most of his early career in Southern California where he contributed to high-end residential homes, multi-family developments, mixed use developments, and most recently a 550 unit residential tower in San Diego. Returning to the southeast in 2021 Kyle landed in Asheville to be closer to family and his home town of Spartanburg, SC.

Kyle is a graduate of Clemson University's Master of Architecture program.

Julian Talley is a local resident and 2022 honors alumnus of Western Carolina University, graduating with a B.S. in Interior Design. His program focused on original designs catered to each client, covering residential design, multi-family development, and mixed-use occupancy spaces. Since joining MDA in February 2023, Julian has been developing his skills in high-end residential projects as well as the architectural process.
